CORRECTIV is dedicated to strengthening democracy through journalism, media education, and technology. As a multi-award-winning non-profit medium, we illuminate power dynamics, expose misinformation, and empower individuals to shape their communities.

Role Overview:

As our Project Manager, you’ll be pivotal in shaping our initiatives, driving strategic planning, and ensuring effective resource allocation for exile projects, including training and awareness activities. Your expertise in crafting impactful campaigns and fostering community engagement will be instrumental.

Key Responsibilities:

  • develop and execute strategic plans for media and community-building projects
  • allocate ressources effectively to maximize impact and reach
  • cultivate vibrant community engagement through innovative media strategies
  • monitor and measure the progress of teams selected for mini-grants
  • provide mentorship, information, and knowledge to ensure successful project implementation

Qualifications:

  • You have at least two years of professional experience in project management, media management, or within an organization relevant to the field of education
  • You have a completed degree or a successful education in economics, project management, media, or a comparable, career-preparing qualification
  • understanding of the exile media and media landscape in Central Eastern Europe
  • distinctive communication and leadership skills
  • you possess analytical thinking, reliability, and a high degree of initiative
  • ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • You have excellent English skills and a fluent German proficiency; proficiency in relevant regional languages is a plus
